Dynamic Campagns

I remember a while back that milo saying something about them a while back but I couldnt remember for sure.

Can we make our own dynamic campaigns? If not can someone tell me why?

milo said that because it was so complicated and such he would have to help out with it, and I think he didnt want to unless it was a solid mod that is was going for or something, I cant remember exactly so dont quote me

Thats kind of what I remember him saying as well. Hope he lets us play with that aspect of the game as well.

I would imagine that more and more tools will be available over time.

Right now I'm sure Milo wants to take a short break before trying to whip up something that dummies like me could actually use.

Well if that doesn't get him to release some sort of Dynamic Campaign Tool then nothing will.... [:)]

Thing is Milo would have to devote a large amount of time personally in conjuction with whatever mod team in order to get the campaign running. I mean him personally working on the campaign. He can't just release some documentation and let us run with it, it's more complicated than that apparently. God knows we've asked enough times. The vibe I get, also, is that its not something that would be easy to make a tool for.

well hopefuylly it will be a learning experience on both sides, milo will get maby time to put some notes down, and the team he is working with(hopefully us if we get there fast enough) will have timne to learn, so when its all and done then WE can site down and write tutorials and maby build some utils(I know vb.net pretty well) to help out.

That way, the next gropu that comes by has a larger base of refennce, the goal SHOULD be to take it out of milos hands, that frees him up to work on patches, enhancments and other features and not getting tied down, cause, if i'm right, there could be a LOT, and I mean a LOT of major groups taking intrest over the next 3-6 months(word takes a while) and not even milo will be able to keep up with it.

Just think, between a freespace, galactica, wc, and b5 mod your already talking massive workload, I dont know how far the others are going but we are pushing it all the way, its going to be a 100% conversion, everything that can be changed or added will be, even some milo does not know about(I dont want to ask yet, we are not far along enough and I dont want to give him a heartattack lol)
