WiF is a completely different scale of game and (apart from the historical period and area of operations) will have no similarity to WiTP
Different authors.
Different design team.

It's tactically simplified (yet encompasses many variables) which allows the player to manage multiple operations in addition to all forms of strategic level ops.Politics, economy, espionage, technology, is all there. It attempts at every turn to recreate the historical situation giving the player a wealth of information on the topic of WW2.
