Auto-Convoy Question

I am running hog wild as the Japs and have taken most of the NEI. I have over 200 AKs and tankers in Osaka and all are slated for Auto-Convoy duty.

The manual states that the computer will only generate 2 auto convoys per turn and will only pick up oil/resources if no other auto convoys are created. Does this mean I have to move my oil/resources manually?

I have a hard enough time keeping track of my offensive units without having to play quartermaster too.

Any hints?

So long as you have the auto-convoy option 'on' at the base in question it should be ok. but instead of micromanaging tf's you could set up 2-3 BIG TK TF's and well escorted too i might add, and use these to get OIL back home just to be sure you get every last drop [:)]

p.s don't forget to send some to indo china and china/manchuria from time to time.

I play same to you with auto-convoy option on, with pick a sporadic eye into the auto-convoy screen to put some bases in YES if necesary. However, in a few months, this system is cleary insufficient, especially if you mantain a strong offensive in a zone, in my case in the Solomons in spring 1942. I must create a permanent convoy with more Tk, AK, and AP to my main bases, Truk especially.
The problem is bigger if you have many troops in the bases and many planes also.
