I am playing 2 seperate e-mail games, ones as the japs and one as the americans. The files come every day and every time I load one my realism settings are where I left them, but when I load the secong campaign game the setting ALWAYS turn off? This allows me to see all my opponents units and he mine. We didnt set up with the settings off so why in the world is the damn thing resetting every time its loaded? If I exit the game and retry all the setting are off but i can change them. In a PBEM game how come thats possible and why aren't the setting set so they come with the PBEM file so when the turn is loaded they are too? Its very frustrating and takes away the fun from what is otherwise an excellent game.

If you read any of the other posts dealing with this issue, you would know that this issue is fixed in the incoming patch. You are going to have to restart your game anyway when the new patch arrives (sometime this week). What is causing your problem is that your game option settings is different than your opponents. Because of this you get weird combat results and other such problems. You need to set your settings exactly to what your opponents settings are and then load the save. There are about 10 different posts that tell you how to fix this issue for now.
