I was flying a mission in a fighter (F-32). And I hit shift-m instead of shift-n and I was greeted with that message. While I find it rather humorous.. it IS a 1 man fighter...

Hitting shift-m, got me "Captain on the bridge"

Obviously some cap-ship command options are enabled when flying a fighter, and shouldn't be there. Can lead to confusion at why the hell the fighter is not doing anything...

LOL,

Go into your pilot config file and set the "schizophrenia" flag to "0"

That should fix it

Uh.. Nothing control, must be radio interferance.

Havn't seen that one yet, though it seems when I (frequently) hit shift-m accidently or otherwise I never seem to intentionally attain the amazing speeds that I slingshot to when damaged systems force me into manual flight mode.
