Carrier group missions in SP campaign

Hi guys

I got promoted to Commodore a few days ago, and now that the celebration is over, I have a question:

The single player campaign generator only produces generic missions like 'assault' or 'patrol' for the carrier group, not target specific like is the case when you command a fighter or a starship. Is this how its supposed to be?

Ah, also, thanks for the patch !

You can't get very specific when you got dynamic campagn. You don't always have the same targets, same names, and such.

Once you're in command it's up to you to pick out targets and send your attack craft out to annihilate them, then upon their celebrated return you get to watch in horror as half of them blow up while trying to land.

Hehe, thanks to the patch this issue is behind us now. Have you noticed that 1 hour or so into a carrier mission, where you have had lots of launches, a queue forms to land, very natural, but often bay 4 stops accepting landings for an unknown reason ?

Sessine- Odds are it is because a fighter that is not near the carrier somehow got first in queue for landings. That happens occasionally ( I'm not sure why- usually fighters wait till they're near the Carrier before calling approach), but its a mere irritant for the most part, since you would need to wait 50 minutes to relaunch fighters regardless.
