SP2 vs SP3

I understand that SPWaW is going to be based on SP3. I have never played SP3. I have heard/read that it used a single icon on the screen to represent several vehicles/squads. Will SPWaW do the same, or will one icon on the screen represent one vehicle/squad as in SP1 and SP2?

Also, I have read somewhere that either SP2 or SP3 will be required to play SPWaW. I own SP2(SP1 also), can SP3 still be purchased?

Lastly, what are the major differances between SP2 and SP3 that will effect SPWaW?
Thanks

SP:WaW has become a very different game from SP3. It is "1 vehicle" per icon and "squad" sized infantry units. Vehicles can take various sorts of damage including patrial and complete immobilization. Crews can bail out and reman.

If you own SP2 or SP3 you can play SP:WaW and it will be available as a FREE download. SP3 can still be purchased from places like Chips and Bits or often "free inside" games like Panzer Commander or Panzer General 3.

Check out the game description on teh SP:WaW page for a complete rundown on the features. It has really matured well beyond both SP2 and SP3!

Forget SP3 Wotan. They don't compare at all except we have borrowed and enhanced some of its features.

But the game is so new, so breathtaking that you won't think SP3 when you play it.

See my post to Def Bungis. And check out a new update to go up any day now with new screen shots to show you some of what is to come.

This game has the feel of Steel Panthers, but it is a completely different game, from the code on up...
