okay


i was playing the eastern solomons scenario

and i had sunk the ryujo and the mutsu, and severely damaged sho and zui

and i decided to experiment

i decided to invade the shortlands

i assembled a big convoy, about 20 ships, and started loading them

they screwed up, and i fixed it, and sent them to invade the shortlands

then

they TURNED AROUND and headed for luganville[:@]


i was like -

wat the fuc@ ?

so, i quit lol


i thnik im getting the hang of UV

but im still having trouble with establishing and maintaining supply lines

i fly it in tho, and sumtimes form a convoy and send it

Was there an IJN CV force somewhere? Did you get a message "TF xxx retreating from carrier TF?" Even a single CVL can cause this behavior.

i think i put them on patrol-do not retire

i had pbys and b17 on aerial recon and patrol searching for the japs

but i didnt see a single carrier

all i saw was DDs and a coupkle cruisers at shortland, which was the intended target
