I really like controlling CVs but can someone tell me why my fighters have this nasty tendency of crashing when they fly into the docking bays? I lose more fighters to crashs than to enemy fire... I would understand if I was flying zickzack-manouvers at max speed but, my carrier is sitting still (=0) no pitch, so landing can't be too difficult...

Are you patched to 4.0.2? That was a huge problem then, most of the landing problems seems to have disappeared with the patch.

Yep, patched to 4.0.2. Could it be a problem with the single missions? So far, I didn't try it in a campaign - rank is not high enough [8|]...

It's not fixed in 4.02. I was driving the Crusier protecting the Hyperion. Every single fighter launched crashed during landing. It was brutal. The Hyperion wasn't moving either. If the carrier is moving at all I know they will crash...of course it begs the question as to why they aren't waved off but yeah, fighters landing is bugged in a big way.

Interesting... when leaving your carrier on navigation auto pilot crash-rate is dramatically reduced...
