How do you edit your friendly save file.... it thought I tried to fiddle with it via wordpad/notepad... I just want to adjust weapon rate of fire, etc... [>:]

theres no way to change weapons rate of fire. Those stats are kept in a file called thisweaponsfile.def (or weapon.def) All the original material is compressed and is not open for public editing. BUT, your more thasn welcome to make you own ships, weapons, mission, galaxies, etc (mods). Or downlaod one of the many being done now..
