Oldsmobile T37 Cannon in an Airacobra I beleive.

Yakovlev Yak-9 I think as I am quite sure it is not a P-39 Aircobra.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Aircobra cannon shooting through the hub of the prop? This one seems offset to the left.[&:]

Can't be teh Yak, All of the Yakolev Fighters had teh gun firing between the two cylinder heads on the engine. The P-39 had the engine behind teh pilot and thus the entire forward section was open to load a gun battery. he only other plane liek this woudl ahve been the P-38 but since this has a Propeller on the front and no engine in the way there is only one canidate the P-39.

37mm barrel is not visible but big box forward on the right looks to be loaded with 37mm projos. Rear box looks to be .50 cal size. 50.cal seems to be visible left side of the open bonet.

If it is the P-39 and the engine is sitting behind the pilot so could you please explain me why we can see the exhaust pipes in the picture? that is why I maintain it is not a P-39.
I could be wrong as I don't positively recognize the canopy but I bet for the Yak-9.

Yak 9D. The front magazine would be to the 20mm ShVak and the gun to the left would be a 12.7mm.

Ron Saueracker, Ya I Nead to do some Canadian Picks, I did the Blenhim Pick a while back...But it was generic Empire equipment...In my mind though I was thinking of the the Blenhim I snuck into in Sidney BC at the Airmuseum their:)

Blenheims were called Bolingbrokes in RCAF service. Catalinas were known as Cansos.

Did anyone know that a Canadian pilot from the PBY squadron which arrives in India during March 42 was responsible for spotting KB on it's approach to Ceylon? Saved a whack of lives and prepared the Hurricane squadrons for the attacks on the Ceylon naval bases.

Blenheims were called Bolingbrokes in RCAF service. Catalinas were known as Cansos.

And the Bolingbroke was the equivalent of the Blenheim IV, not the Blenheim I which v1.21 / Scen 15 gives to the RCAF. IIRC, the Canso was more specifically an amphibious variant of the Catalina.

If he didnt get a medel he should have....think the Hurricanes took quite a toll of the Jap attack if i remember rightly.
