I just traded "Heroes of M&M III" for
"Steel Panther III" on
http://gametz.com/
And here I was bitching and moaning about not wanting to spend money for an old game, to get a new one.

Looks like after all, I will be playing SPW@W.
I still got heart burn about a 150 MEG download on my 56K dial up.

Any way you guy's might consider a mail in money order for shipping and handling and the cost of a CD?

Congratulations, DB! We are considering all avenues of getting the game out. Of course, there are restrictions placed upon us by the original owner of the Steel Panthers, SSI.
We are obligated, naturally, to adhere to what their decision will be about game distribution, and rightfully so.
As soon as a final decision is made, David Heath, head of TGN and Matrix Games will be announcing it.

Now that was a a really nice trade! Does anybody know if SP2-3 are still being sold? While I have my copies, others may be searching as DB has.

I don't know if they are still being sold seperately, but I think you should still be able to find SP:Arsenal (SP1, 2, & 3!!! +all campaign disks) out on the net for around $12 or so. Check-out places like CDACCESS.COM.

I'd say nose around the used software shops, if there are any in your area. You'll find SP at a fraction of the cost. Make sure they let you look at the CD.

I seen SP III on CHIPS and BITS for $19.00.
Not to bad I guess.

Well, I guess this thread is already out of date, but as Paul Vebber said, is that SPW@W will NOT require some older version of a SP CD to work. Just download and install.
