I ordered the uk-version of the game some days ago, at amazon. Now i saw, that there is only an us-version of patch 1.20. Could somebody tell me the differences between uk- and us-version?
Will i have to wait, or is it possible to use the us-version of the patch?[&:]

UK and US patches are not compatible - usually. They use different copy protection. BUT as v1.20 US did remove the copy protection they ?MAY? be compatible ? Not sure if this removal was by accident or intent. Please try and report.

Thanks for your reply. My copy of the game arrived today. I downloaded the patch as .zip file, which gave me an error message:"Das folgende Verzeichnis konnte nicht erstell werden: Matrix Games\Titans of Steel - Warring Suns".
Then i tried the .exe file. This time, the patching was successful.
But now, i have another question. My UK-version showed me v2.0.0 as version number. Now, it shows the 1.2.0. Why is the version number of the unpatched game higher, then the number of the patched version? That's a bit unusual[&:][8|]

Where does your UK version show v2.0 ? The patch is correct as there never was a v2.0.

On the subject of the UK patch, is there ANY chance of patching to an "official" common version now ? Surely anti-piracy protection is no longer really an issue (how many copies are still being sold ?).

..... before posting. The Justplay (UK) version patches up to 1.2 US (from 1.1 UK) without any problem at all (the .exe download - didn't try the zip). Just wish I'd tried it before [:(]

The version number is shown in my windows taskbar. When i changed the window during gameplay, it showed "ToS: WS CC v2.0.0". After the patch, it showed the v1.2.0
Very strange, since i never heard something about a version 2.0
