Shipping Air Trans to the Far East

Interesting question....But how has anyone gotten air transports to the CBI Theater to fly the 'Hump' so to speak. I know you will probably have to ship them, but on a try against the AI I choose a sea hex as a point to make a 2nd leg from so I can run it around the bottom of Oz. The convoy seems to have disapeared at sea though. Any thoughts on this?

You can try to ship the convoy on shorter hops, to say Noumea, then, before it gets there to sidney, then to that place in Tasmania, then to Perth, and so on. (You will need to refuel a few times, or stick a TK full of fuel with your TF). Oh by the way, by the time it gets there, we all died of old age; good thing the flyboys were young[;)]

Will the DEI Air transports ranges allow them to make the hump trip. In one of my many starts I extracted them and sent them to India for use. I don't know if they would ever get any replacement aircraft to use for a period of time and again I don't know if their range is sufficent. Given the range problems of the C-47s and map problems, maybe the ranges could be tweaked on these also to have a hump run.

Where on the map are you flying from and to that constitutes the Hump?
