Hmmm currently playing scen. 15 V1.21 as the Allies.

I've captured Bangkok and have stationed a lot of my air power there.

Whenever I order air missions the units strike at completely different targets to those assigned. On checking I notice that the target has reverted to "commanders discretion".
I tell them to bomb Point Victoria, they bomb Saigon instead....


The Bangkok base is under "5th Army" control. The russian one I beleive.
Spent 1400 PP changing it SE Asia.
It reverted to "5th Army" the next turn. Doh!

So is it a bug or have I missed something regarding HQ's etc?

Doh! It's worse than I thought.

Human control yep.

But look at the owner of the base IJA!

Definately a bug methinks.

A better screenshot to prove that the IJA owns my Allied base..

The same thing with Bangkok happened in my game. I just let it be and march on to Saigon [:D]

For another giggle, look at the name of the selected air unit at the bottom of the screen. [:)]

I've got the same problem. In addition my air units stationed there(AVG+b-25's) won't attack the airbase thats targeted. I'm curious to know if you get the pp for taking the base.[:D]

I feel sorry for my AI opponent though. It's August 42 and nearly every pilot in the sentai shown has an exp. of 20![X(]

No wonder there have been a few whines re. Japanese pilot pools etc...
