Why only 10 altitude levels?

I dream of making scenarios from the German invasion of Norway using HTTR. But having 10 levels of altitude seems slightly low. 1000 m+ altitude increase in certain areas of Norway is not uncommon, and each level would be 100 m+!? Any chance this is altered in the sequel?

CoTA will have more altitude layers, owing to the terrain in Greece. But I'm not sure how many.

Well COTA will have an extra five alt layers. In the future we'll implement a different approach to altitude, in that we'll have multiple layers per shaded area. this will allow us to have many, many more contours. That's on our wish list.
