Greek God Mods

Only just started with this 3d modelling n defs but thought i might try something diff n create a series of ships based upon greek gods. 1st 1 i have done is the Hermes - messenger of the gods- its fast, not much in the way of defense but has a v low sensor signature so its hard to lock on n spot.

i know my texturing leaves sumthin 2 b desired but havn't got any decent software to produce detailed 1s.

big thnx 2 every1 on the forum that hav provided so much info that i could get started.

screen shots n a zip with the def, mag, pcx files etc. follow.

any advice for improvements would b greatlly appreciated.

Comment: Um..interesting idea....

Suggestion: USe the surfaces in Magic. Group things, Lock/hide things. Makes textureing alot easier...

thnx

i have tried to use surfaces but i found that i ended up with a blank texture area between surfaces when 1 is hidden.

not quite sure what i am doing wrong with them
