Computer Generated Convoys

I am playing the Guadalcanal Scenario (Aug 4, 1942 - Feb 7, 1943) as the Japanese - no production, limited map around the same basic area as UV.

Is there any way I can keep the computer from generating fuel and supply convoys and sending them to places I never intend to use. I have to cancel a convoy every turn trying to bring 16000 fuel and 7500 supplies to Russel Island. I have no troops there, nor do I have any expansion toggled on.

Any help would be appreciated. I already lost some ships sent to Finschafen that I missed the computer sending.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before - I looked through 4 pages of posts and didn't see it.

Thanks

It's a bug, it has been fixed, but the patch is not ready for public consumption yet. [:(]

Thanks a lot for the quick response!!! I am actually relieved it is a bug and not a 'feature' [;)]

Is there an ETA for the patch? A buddy of mine and I want to play it PBEM and it will drive me insane to have to deal with these convoys. The Japanese have to be much better stewards of their resources to begin with - and to be constantly having to thwart inane convoys will be very frustrating. We may just put it off until the patch.

No ETA yet. Even if there was, it would change the second I said so [8|]

Last questions (hopefully) - Is this bug in all of the smaller scenarios without production or just this one? Is it in the big campaigns as well?

Again, thanks for the quick responses.

There is a slightly different problem in the production scenarios where sometimes a base will default to yes when you capture it. As long as you check it and make sure it is no, you'll be fine.

This too is fixed in the next patch.
