A question of German Flammpanzer III

Hi all,

I am a really green newbie to the great game. Though the game is free, I did spend some money buying WWII books for reference.

I have a problem that when I upgrade my German Flammpanzer II to Flammpanzer III, the flame projector just disapeared. Is there any rule in the game that simulate weapon shortage in the war? Or is this a game bug?
I have checked the in-game encyclopedia that Flammpanzer III should have twin flame projector, but it has only one in the weapon list. I have upgraded 4 units and one of them is equiped with one projector, the others have no projector at all.

Could anyone help me with the problem please? The battle filed is getting hot and I doubt if my Flammpanzer II can survival long.

Thanks in advance.

Well, the PzIII flame has only one flamethrower. So in that sense the oob file is correct. Ay least 8.2 version is. What version of the game you are using?

Thanks for your response.

I am playing WWII campaign in version 8.2 with a clean install. I will try to update the flame PZIII again and try to clarify the problem.

Revlis, no, no, no! Don't do it again!!! It is a regualr occurance in campaigns, as the crews need to get aquainted with the new equipment, so you won't have the flamm anlaggen in the first battle but the vehicle will be fully operational in the next. I have seen a lot of people asking about this but it is anormal thing... Just hold out with out it...

Good Luck

Thanks.

I think it is reasonable that the crews need some time to get used to the new panzer.[:)]. I just don't realized the game is so realistic.
I will check my firearms next time before I charge into entrented GJ engineers. They really taught me a good lesson.
