Tactical commands

OK. I made to to destroyer command, and I seem to be assigned to a two destroyer element. The map will allow me to set nav points etc BEFORE the missions starts, but once underway the second ship cannot be accessed except via tha radio, and even then who knows what they understand. The manual implies that if you right click, you can give commands etc. The map will let me change MY nav points, but will not let me change the other destroyers, so often they go off doing some dumb thing, or cannot pursue another target. Am I doing something wrong?

Try right clicking on the ship itself (from 3rd person/orbit camera view), if you get the right spot and the ship is under your command it'll give you a menu to issue orders from.

It should give you some control over their actions, esp. if you tell them to escort you - then they should only chase enemies nearby, presumably those you are attacking yourself :)

Thank you, Death... It seems you are becoming my personal coach! I'll try that later, but this seems something that would be nice to implement more directly, such as on the map!

You can't change the other ships wayponts in the map?
Huh. *Goes to demo to check that*

[EDIT]
Well the demo allows you to change the navpoints in mission. Campaign and single mission
