IF you are not really "into" the whole 3d arena you might not noticed anything odd about these ships... so I'll just tell you.

Milo has added specular map support and it works -awsome-

Here are two pics, and I"ve noticed 0 slowdown.

Now that we have this, i"m going to be able to do some really crazy effects with the dilgar ships.. can-not-wait

okay ive been up since 2am(when I got milos email) messing with this.. I got spec maps added to ALL The b5 ships!! some, like the narn, had to use generic maps.. since they use about 5-10 texture maps and I combined it into 1 mag file.. making it impossible to appy specific spec maps.. but it looks great still...... and the ships, like the ea, centauri, raider, and minbari(got some REALLY cool blue gloss effects for these ships) look totaly awsome


now I sleep!!!!!!!

Its basically done, I"m just playing it even now and then to make sure its pretty clean, and adding missions, of course there is no rush since it will only work with 403, I have no idea how the ships will look in pre 403 cause of the way spec maps are setup, but I"m guessing pretty crappy lol

I"m also hopefull that I will get the old 301 mod re-uploaded(I lost it in the crash) then I can start converting those ships over... with spec maps added it will -really- save them(the textures suck in my book)

Thanks to vpk I got a hold of the 301 mod... so now i"m adding those ships into the 500 release.. and ya.. that mod had a -ton-

I remember way back when using a pic of the thunderbolt to convince milo spec maps would look good on it, and man, they look awsome in game, they REALLY roll off the ships according to lighting the way they should, heck, the only times they dont look perfect is cause of the idiot way I did some of the older ships lol

vpk uploaded the 250 meg 301 mod to me.

I"m just looking for hosting right now, its basically done... i"m taking this time to convert over all the ships.. there are still about 15-20 ships I think I can to pull in from 301...

Added another solar system yesterday too.... so it wont be long.. at least the release is in sight now.

I Cant belive how long it has taken to get to this point lol!!!!!

I also fear the number of fixes I Will have to do lol.. and just think.. this is just ships/galaxy and music....... gawd.. its gonna take forever once you factor in interface dynamic missions and all that other stuff we want to change(we have issues okay)
