USMC Arm Amphib units in editor

As I seem to play around with the Editor more than the game (I yet to complete a game past Jan '42), I found this interesting "problem".
The "USMC Arm Amphib"s (both ToE and the actual units) have a unit type of "Armored" and a suffix of "None" in the editor.
However if you examine the database, the unit type is correct but the suffix has a value of "75" which translates to "Infantry Battalion".
No matter how many times you change the value through the editor it remains the same in the database.
However, if I remove the "Arm" from the name ("USMC Amphib") and then set the type "Armored" and suffix "Battalion", the changes take effect. The full name becomes "USMC Amphib Tank Bn". [This may not be the correct name for the real units.]
My guess is that "Arm" is also one of the short names that is used by the suffix routine and thus some how confuses the editor.
I don't know what impact this may on the game (apart from leader assignment which does use the suffix to determine what level of leader to use).
