after starting a game - can you edit database details - save- and have changes reflected
in the game started or is it a one time use of database's data when you start game and you have to start another new game ??
also
the use of sound file is that hard coded or are the SFX files linked in the data base
same as ship/plane artwork [&:][&:]

sound files are hard coded. As to editing, it is the same as when you patch. It only picks up the OOB edits once. So, if you have a saved scenario, edit it, and then play the save, everything will still be the same. You'll have to restart to take stock of changes.

The game save seems to hold a copy of the relevant data from the scenario database files. So as Tankerace said, any changes to scenario database files are only applied to a new game. Currently there's no way to access the encrypted game save data, but I hope that Matrix/2by3 will consider making it accessible for non-PBEM games before they move on from WitP.
