I waited over two years (and many of you longer than that) for the release of WIF (computer version)from theADG then it went to matrix....reading through some of these threads I get the feeling that it will be another couple of years before it's released. I can almost be that you could get a pricetag of $99.99 for it, and I'd pay for it too! I have been enjoying WITP and that had a steep price tag too. I am getting very depressed that I will probably be an old man before it comes out........what I am trying to say guys YOU WILL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY IF YOU RELEASE IT BEFORE THE PENTIUM 14 COMES OUT. But in the meantime, I can sell any and all who want it the "old Beta version" of the game.

I understand your frustrations as we were originally promised a non-AI complete version of the game back in mid '98
That being said, if you have the patience to even play the old beta you will definetly have the patience to wait for the real thing from matrix. I found the beta not worth(as a non-beta tester) playing due to some serious design flaws. Co-ordinating and monitoring the entire world is too much without some assistance from the game design.
So unless you have no choice aka no room at home no room at friends place I would skip the beta untill matrix have redone it. If you desperate for a game of WIF play the real deal.

I hope the matrix version does rework the interface to make the game more playable, I've heard some good ideas in this forum eg. the ability to scroll through all units of type eg. HQ
