I have bittorrent and the AddOn downloaded great but the main file is not. BT tells me that it cannot download due to : "got bad file info".

Any ideas peeps?

I just tried out downloading my own torrent from an external connection, and it worked fine.
Are you sure you have the right link? Is there enough disk space? Do you sit behind a firewall maybe?

Hmmm I turnd off firewall and still didnt work...BT is still failing to DL saying "got bad file info".
What is weird though is that I am able to DL the addon with no problem....

I really dont know what causes that with bittorrent files

i just checked it an it works, it must be somthing on your end:(, or your bittorrent client, maby get a newer one?

Let me check my assumptions. There are two files to DL right?

The actual Mod
AND the add-on right?

I have DL the add on and run the install and it only install a HUD and a Music Folder under a mod folder.

If there is only the Add-on file then the problem is a something else altogether.

Exactly. That's why it's called an "Addon"

And turgoZ is right, you got the wrong link earlier. Bittorrent seeds always end in ".torrent", nothing else.

remember to read the readme for the addon

the hud and music have to be moved to the root ss directory, that means renaming your music directory in the root or you will kill the default music

You know i had used that link before but with Netsacpe the screen would fill up with computerese junk this morning i used IE to open the link the DL started!!!!! Go figure. Anyway DL initiated. Thanks a bunch for everyones comments. You guys are lifesavers!!!
