MCSE: Is this a bug?

I recently bought the General's Edition of SPWAW and I'm having a blast with the Screaming Eagles Mega. I was playing the scenarios of the 327th Glider, and I think I hit a bug or something I don't understand. It's on a mission in the Battle of the Bulge (I don't know the mission #), where you are trying to cut off a German force headed to Bastonge (I think). My force entered from the east and Germans came up from the south. At the top (north) of the screen were victory hexes owned by the germans. The problem was that when I occupied the hexes, they didn't revert to my control. In other words they still showed the German flag and not the U.S. flag. So I ended up with a draw even though I almost totally destroyed the German force. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks

Checki and see if the hexes were "NON RE-CAPTURABLE", I don't have MCSE but I suspect that's it.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know that there could be non-capturable objective hexes. How can I tell? And what is the point of having an objective you can't capture?

Hover your pointer over the VH. If it is non-re-captureable, it should say so. I would imagine that the VH was neutral at the battle start. Who ever gets there first gets it.

Hi, Were they the hexes the Germans had to reach to exit the map?

Jim- They weren't neutral at the start, they were always German. Thanks for the tip on hovering the pointer over the hex though. Is there a way to speed up the time it takes for information to come up when you do this?
Mogami - Perhaps they are exit hexes, but they are not right at the edge of the map. They are a few hexes away.

Kingwannabee: Go to "Live Delay" under preferences and reduce the time period.[8D]
