StarCraft mod??

Im want to start work on a starcraft mod but i have no idea how to mod or anything of that nature at all so any tips or hints or somthing would be wonderful (web site that explains it all....ect.) also if anyone knows of a starcraft mod or some templates or something so i dont have to start from scratch that would be great.
