No Serial Number Provided with Game

Help please,
I just received Starshatter and cannot install the program as the install requires that I provide a serial number and I was not given a serial number. The email I received provided me with a customer number, an order number, a tracking number; the invoice provides an item number, a location number, as well as several other more arkane numbers none of which work as a serial number. Looking up my order status and information I receive the following:
1 Starshatter Fulfilled 1Z5595530354904870 Not Serialized 14-OCT-04
the number following "...Fulfilled" is the tracking number for the shipment.
"Not Serialized" is not helpful when the install refuses to finish without the proper serial number provided.
Any help on this problem would be appreciated.
