Vector indicator in a fighter?

Quick noob question.

If you're on a strike mission and another group engages your designated target at, say, vector 370, how do you actually find that vector/make sure you're flying on that vector?

Its only happened once or twice on the Udiel mission but I usually just end up engaging two other frigates.

What version are you playing?

In the latest version (i can't remember in exactly which version it was added) there's a compass indicator at the top of the circle thing in the middle of the HUD. Thats the vector that they refer to, though you may have to pitch up or down to head directly at your objective.

Though if the orders came through 'vector 128 by 12 for 97km,' that'd be pretty cool too.They dont yet, however.

The number is in 3.9, I beleive you need to have complicated hud on though.

everybody should run 403 it adds a lot of important fixes
