A question for you, Mate. I have been looking at your soon to be obsolete mod. I'm guessing it was altered from version 3.2 since yo0u can change Florence to build other aircraft. Anyway, I've only played 2 turns against the AI.

My first attack on Brest-Litovsk failed. My panzers had been sent around it, leaving it to fend off 2 infantry corps on the first turn. Interesting, I thought. Anyway, on the second turn, I see that despite being five hexes behind my advance forces, that it is still at supply of 1. Have you done that with any other cities? Leningrad for instance? Can you do it for any city?

I have always thought that some cities fall far too easily, and there is really no way that a Soviet player can hold Leningrad if the German player punches through at Demjansk...there are just far too many rail hexes that the Germans can sever.

So, Sir...can you tell us the deal with this new supply deal?

In advance....Thank You!

hey!
i changed it from 3.3, but changing the italian air slots turned italian aircraft into normal aircraft and whatever other axis aircraft i put in their place can't change production. that was before i knew about certain locked slots - the Ju-87b in regular 3.3 is in one too, as you cannnot manually upgrade to the Ju-87d.

as for the supply thing i don't think that B-Litovsk has supply when cut off - when looking at opposing supply during your turn, it is often wrong. i am playing a game of the old mod as sovs and i don't recall it having any supply after it was cut off. supplied cut-off cities are hard coded so i am not able to change that fact. i am sure there are only 4 cities that are still supplied after being cut off - leningrad, odessa, sevastopol, and rostov. in the next mod i will be toning down B-Litovsk but leaving an entrenched 9 corps on all those other cities so that they can hold out. odessa will be very interesting, as it will give the opportunity to delay AG South for a few weeks. so, sorry, there's nothing new about supply, but hopefully i can set the soviets up in advance to hold certain cities for at least a while!

you playing against the sov ai mod? i played it some, but am curious how hard it is in the long run!

Flanker leader, I dint find any changes on supply system in our game. Brest is in supply 0 in german turn but with high entrenchment the soviets can hold the city a couple of turns if the german not send important forces, so the soviets can delay the supply advance on this rail line.
