I'm from Russia so my english is not well. I have a problem. Now I fly on CA Courageous cruiser and sometimes, when enemies firing at me by torpedoes or by NIKE my defense cannons and MK7 do not intercept them. What should I do to make my defense work.[&:]

Press 'W' to bring up the weapons control panel then click the word 'Def' under 'PDB' and 'Mk7'
Now they will attack any valid targets (including fighters and missiles for PDB's and Mk7's) that come within range.

make sure you have the latest patch as well, milo fixed their code in one of the patches

2 Pheonix Starflare I have brought and clicked. But nothing have happends. They still do not see 50% of incoming missiles. Listen, I've lost my manual, if you have it in electronic doc. would you send it to me? I would be thankfull (my gram is awful isn't it? )[:(]

Are the missiles from fighters? They are 'too small' or are 'stealthy' enough that they aren't targetted by capitolship weapons.
Capship Point defense (PDB and Mk7) can only target ships (both fighter/LCA sized and occasionally capship sized) and large missiles from capships (Torpedoes, Nikes and Athenas).

You're grammar isnt so bad. I've seen much worse from native english speakers. To your credit you actually use commas and periods. Lots of us see no need to use such frivolities on the internet.

2 Pheonix Starflare I know that cannons MK7 and PDBs couldn't target at fighters's missiles. But, in my case, they do not target at NIKEs ATHENAs and TORPEDOs. Maybe it depends on EMCON mode. By the way, what debend from EMCON mode?

Well, I believe your weapons will only fire when you're in EMCOM 3. That's the default one
