If I choose an off topic subject, it is not going to be political.

Montana was a Republican and Elway was a Democrat. So this is politics.

Montana was a Republican and Elway was a Democrat. So this is politics.
Anyway, Shanahan and Lynch are not the first prominent Bronco/Republicans. The party would love it if John Elway followed in the footsteps of Steve Largent and Tom Osborne and ran for office. So far, he hasn't bitten.
Maybe he ought to reconsider. Politics and sports are getting closer all the time. After all, the coach of the Broncos supports the former owner of the Texas Rangers. Sort of all in the family, as Norman Lear might say.

Don Lemmon's Muscle & Fitness Magazine
JOE MONTANA, THE BEST QUARTERBACK EVER
The San Francisco 49ers trailed the Dallas Cowboys 27-21 late in the fourth quarter in the 1981 NFC Championship Game. Any hope of a 49ers' win rested squarely on the shoulders of quarterback Joe Montana. Methodically, he directed the San Francisco offense 83 yards from their own 11-yard line to the Dallas six. With just 51 seconds remaining and under a fierce pass rush, the young quarterback fled the safety of the pocket and tossed a high, floating pass toward the end zone. Buried immediately under a mass of Cowboy defenders, Montana didn't see wide receiver Dwight Clark's game-winning grab, known today simply as "The Catch," but the roar of the crowd told him all he had to know. The 49ers were going to the Super Bowl.

So.....is Elway a new submarine class in the 1.3 patch? Or is this a new secret weapon that the allies are going to employ?

Actually, the Elway will be a new feature in patch 1.4 that will allow our older players a chance to play and win at this game during their natural lives without having to will the save game files to a willing family member to continue on. After starting the game and realizing that it can not be completed in your natural lifetime, you press the Elway button located at your chief home port. You will be asked a series of questions to correctly determine your advanced age and if successful, your opponnent will recieve a "You loose, you young whippersnapper" message when they run the next turn.
Please see the "No Warning" thread for information on when this oversight was first revealed. [:D]
