How do reinforcements appear out of thin air? Was cpt. Kirk helping the Axis war effort?
I have been playing the Deelen option as the Allies and have successfully found a way of boxing in the area between the Neder Rijn in the north and east, and the Waal in the south. A company at each ferry point holds up the Germans easily. By day 3 I placed a brigade at Elst to hold the southern end of the highway with arty. support at Ressen.
Imagine my surprise and frustration (after days of playing this campaign) when 14 units of the 10th Pnz div materialize out of thin air right in the middle of a British bde HQ on the morning of the 4th day. Not as surprised as the troops were!
German reinforcements then appeared in the midst of a number of my formations. Are the Germans coming up through the sewers? Or are they using transporter technology from Startrek?

I believe that this reinforcement schedule represents units freed from the fight at Nijmegen by the Allied capture of the bridge there. In other words, those units have been "present" in the southern part of the map all the while, but they have not been fighting YOU because their attention has been directed south. It can give an odd feel to the scenario, I know, but it's probably a reasonable abstraction of the other bridge battle going on just to the south of your map.

On the bright side, you can expect 30th Corps to start coming up (as if close behind the 10th Pz) pretty soon.
