Three different players trying to send me email set ups for secure games failed, last one deffinately did it correctly as I was on the phone with him, he is using outlook express... the game isn't auto launching the secure setup, the file shows in the sent folder, that file then being manually sent to me, and placed in the correct play folder does not give me any load email options...
Since I have multiple pbem partners, kinki huh?, and these three guys are all new users I thought at first ue... is it something else?
Maybe a outlook express error compatibility issue? found this strange

I am the guy that Freeboy tried to setup an e-mail game with . Besides the probelm he has stated above, there is more problems. Freeboy also sent me an email game. I manually transferred the file to the proper folder and was able to load the game without problem. However, now when I enter the game, the "setup Email game" button is grayed out? The program does not allow me to now setup any more email games. I rebooted my computer but that did not help. I could not find in the rules anything about my problem? [&:]

Lew,
Sounds like you have not finished a secure PBEM game turn (i.e. can't do anything PBEM until its finished).

I've had a problem with an a game freeboy and I are trying to start. He sets up the game and sends me the file. I save it in SaveEmail/Play. I then load BiN and open the file which it finds no problem. I make all the turn 1 moves (I'm playing Allies in the Omaha scenario).
After I'm done with all my moves and I click on Exit and send (or save and send, can't remember what the button says exactly) I got an error saying something about an email error 24: not able to compress the email file. Then when I try to open it again it tells me its expecting turn 2...

Hi Laith,
Can i ask which path you have installed the game to? There is an issue (that has been fixed for the patch) which means that any path greater than the default will fail. If so, could you try reinstalling to the default path.
Otherwise, can you give me some more info about the email game - file name etc etc.

Freeboy,
When you say your path is long, what is the exact path to your battles in normandy executible? (ie C:\Matrix Games\Battles In Normandy\BattlesinNormandy.exe)

AlexS,
I had changed the path to install into the Programs directory instead of creating the Matrix directory directly under C:
I have re-installed the game using the default directory and so far the problem seems to have disappeared.

Freeboy - tha reason you have no problems is because your path is not longer than the default - C:\Matrix Games\Battles In Normandy.
