Hi everyone !

I played a scenario in SPWAW 8.0 ( The Horror of War, The Spanish war), Nationalist side, and the picture showing the aeroplane S.M 79 is not right. Instead there is a picture of some kind of small tank or something. A bug or........

It's probably an old (prior version) scenario that wasn't updated for ver 8.0, it's possible to repair using the game editor supplied, but I never tried it myself.

A "bug" is something which affects the way the program runs, not an incorrect picture. In v8.3 I find the German MG34 (1943) shows a sniper picture. It's an error, NOT a bug. We old timers are a bit sensitive about the b-word. [:-] [:D]

OK, you're forgiven. [:D] Perhaps the picture got corrected for v8.3.

The small tank you see is the CA Schneider (pic 19806)

This error was fixed for version 8.3

You can fix it yourself if you go to the PIC directory and locate file p019806 and rename it to something like p019806orig then find file p019804 and copy it then paste it to the same directory. Rename the new file (copy_of_p019804) to p019806

You may also notice a file p019806_alternate in the PIC directory. If you see this you can rename the p019806 file as above then rename p019806_alternate to p019806.

This will fix the picture of the S.M. 79 but will, of course, create an error when viewing the CA Schneider.

Best thing is to upgrade to version 8.3
