I've installed and patched up to v.2.3 but when I want to play I get the message "wrong disc inserted", yet it's the same disc used for the installation.
I'm using winXP(sp2), 512mb, athlon 1.8, GForce FX5600 with latest drivers.
Please help, what's wrong.

My guess (from the spelling of "valour" [;)] ) is that you have a UK "box" release of the game (Justplay ?). I don't have UV, but I do have the Justplay published Titans of Steel, and (until the last one) that needed Justplay patches because of the different copy protection... the US patch did the same as you describe in always asking for the disk - it wants the US one not a UK one.
I may be wrong.. if nobody here knows (somebody should) you might check with Justplay .. or whoever published in Europe if it wasn't them.
If all else fails this is one of those instances where use of a no CD crack would be justified - I can't believe UV is still selling in any material quantity now WitP has been released.
