I am attempting to mod Sc 16 and seem to have run into a problem.
I have previously, successfully Mod'd Sc 15 (saving in slot 30) by adjusting
the pilot pool. I opened the database editor, loaded Sc 15 and did a save as
in slot 30 under a new name. I then went into the Sc editor, loaded the Sc in
slot 30, did my mod and saved. Everything worked fine !
Now I've tried the same thing with Sc 16 and the Sc editor won't load it (tried
multiply slots) claiming a problem of opening the aircraft file. Looked in the folder
and there are 9 files associated with this new slot which is the same as I had when
I successfully mod'd earlier to slot 30. Attempted mod'ing Sc 15 and others in multiple
slots, all fail with the same issue.

Any thoughts as to what to try next ?

Just a follow on to my problem. The Sc that I did successful mod in Slot 30 and have a current pbem game going with this Sc. I tried loading this Sc in the Sc editor and got the same error message. Can't open aircraft data. ?????

did you save both the senerio and the data base file in the your selected sen number ??

need to save both sounds like you did not save data base files
