According to the table I have delivered 145 odd A6M5's. 140 have been used. I can find a 9 a/c squadron that upgraded from A6M2 and 3 sent to the Taiho as replacements. The other 135 have disappeared into the ether. Any help would be appreciated.

135 is exactly 5 Daitai (27 ac) of fighters. It sounds to me like you upgraded 5 squadrons somewhere that you aren't looking at. Check both your land and naval airgroups windows, filter out all but fighters and then look for A6M5 groups. My guess is that 5 of them were set to allow upgrades and upgraded to the A6M5. The other place to look is the aircraft losses screen. Somehow I doubt you lost 135 A6M5's without knowing it, but you should check that. The total of on map plus pool plus losses should equal produced.

Actually, I have done that every turn. The only air groups listed are the one 9 a/c lb and the Taiho's group. Also, all my Claudes are waiting on A6M2, perhaps that is the problem? There may be 5 groups of A6M5 organizing, I will check that. But how long do they take to organize?

Other than upgrades, A/C can go to replace loses. Do you have "Accept Replacements" on for any Air Groups?

The Group can lose 3 A/C in a turn, replace 3 A/C and 3 planes from the Replacement Pool have been used up with no apparent change in unit size.

(you will see these as operational losses or combat losses in the appropriate screens (hotkey "i") if you look there closely each turn)

I think the only losses so far have been about 3 according to the table. I will double check. I don't see how a 9 a/c unit could go through 130 or so a/c in 30 days. The Taiho has not been in combat.
