Well hope i dont broke any rules here (posting link for game not made by matrix), This is not my intention.

Well lurking around these forum for quite a while. I'm not currently owning WITP. But i'm sure planning to get my hand on Gary Grigsby's World at War. It's more my type of game.

Anyway, I found that while surfing the net, maybe some of you (witp players) might find this interresting.

Cool trailer.... nice pictures too. Sure its "massively multiplayer online tactical game", but it seem great at first glance ,,,,, look at the detail of the ship. This North American version is currently in the beta testing phase. The massive naval battles involve up to 128 players (64 vs. 64).

Sorry for mistake (french speaking) and again sorry if i broke a forum rule.

I decided to try the thing after Tankerace posted that it was decent. Well, my biggest impression is that for something that looks so promising in the preliminary stages (I mean you have to admit that shipyard looks very cool) the gameplay level is disgustingly low. I think I could be just as entertained with "Pong" (the principles are nearly identical anyway).

The other feature that Navyfield shares with all "massively multiplayer" games is what a friend of mine likes to call "the grind". That is, if you want to get anywhere, you have to spend massive amounts of time and effort doing the same reperitive things.

It does, however, have two things going for it. It is kind of adictive and its free. Other than that, I go with Tankerace who said, and I quote, "if it was pay-for-play I wouldnt touch it". Personally, I would much rather spend my time on WitP.

But this is just my opinion.
