Question about scenarios/mods

All,

A quick question about the modifications and scenarios. I have just opened Tanaka's zipped file. It contains two folders...do I just copy the files from those folders into the same folders in the game file. Obviously the additional scenarios just add to the already existing list, although revisions to exisitng scenarios probably overwrite the existing files. Is it standard for the new graphics and sound files to overwrite the existing ones? or add to them? Anything else I need to know about the process of implementing mods or scenarios?

Thanks in advance

From what I've seen, most scenario designers are ensuing that 1) they don't overwrite official scenarios and 2) they don't overwrite each other's work. Tanaka's scenario is listed further down the list (all by itself). Though I do believe that scenario 199 from Spooky's website does infact overwrite the official scenario 15 (but not 100% sure, tells you how much I was paying attention when I unzipped).
The other modifications (sound and art) don't effect the game, just the eye and ear candy and I found it to be an enhancement. You'll note that they always tell you to back up what you're overwriting incase you wish to switch back.

Sincerely
Kelly
