Game Impressions

Very enjoyable game, I like the flavor of playing miniatures on the computer [:)].
I would love to see a future expansion that covered periods of Rome (Hannibal or Caeser or preferably the whole era if possible) and one that covered the Napoleonic era (i.e. Napoleon or preferably the whole era). I believe the system could be adapted to both. The succesor wars after Alexander died might also be interesting.
I can see a lot of potential for the game to be a battle resolution system for a strategic level system. An example might be to use it as the lower level system to resolve battles for Empires in Arms. The game would have stock images of the various miniature forces and armies would be built automatically based on the forces in the strategic game. Map would be based on strategic terrain and players would then deploy their forces and fight the battle. Other potential systems other than Napoleonics would be a Roman period game and possibly the successor wars after Alexander died.
It would be useful to have more historic battles or a system that generates random battles/campaigns to increase the replayability of the game.
It would be nice to be able to play both sides as a single player as this would provide more variety/playability.
While playing the campaign, I noticed the player has to allocate his forces to locations before seeing the background description for the battle. It would seem more appropriate to have the background description available before allocating forces.
Looking forward to the next installment.
