I am playing a mirrored UV campaign with an opponent, and applying lots of tips I learned from this board, are getting ahead in both games. This guy, no names mentioned, is obviously twisting his head to try to figure out how I am doing better than him, as this totally patetic mail I just got from him shows:

"I have been contemplating whether or not to complete these games seeing as how you have my password. It really puts me at a disadvantage. I don't know why you would need my password. You are clearly better then I am at this game, and certainly don't need any added advantage to defeat me. Working in the computer industry it was probably quite easy to break into the program to get the password. That would explain why you seem to be able to zoom in on my Subs so easily and then be waiting with Subs. for my ships when they arrive at a destination.
Just out of curiosity have you modified the ASW and SUB combats as well? They seem to be very one sided as well. You never seem to miss an opportunity, and always get a hit. I guess if one has the proper computer skills there is not to much that can't be done when it comes to these games."

I am currently in a PBEM, and my foe hasn't understand how, as the US, I managed to garrison Gili Gili before he attacked at the beginning of Scen 16 (don't tell him [:'(]). At least he's calling me an artist not a cheater [:D]

1.) A misrepresented attempt at humor,

2.) He's a ten year-old, or

2.) Psychotic paranoia, in which case he requires prescription drugs that alter his brain chemistry, not an enjoyable game of Uncommon Valor.

But seriously this guy is missing something by not reading the posts or paying
attention to his recon data or something, and then accusing before doing research
is a little bit much.
You need to point him in the forums direction for advice on how to kick butt.
I know how he feels when I played my first PBEM game, I played one of the best
players out there and he sunk over 300+ of my ships and was in OZ by june.[&o]
But I payed attention and learned some things so it isn't a bad thing to get stomped
around.

To be fair, after exchanging some mails with this guy now I have learned the reason why his outburst.
In an old mail he went on about how everything seems to be going my way, when his side should have been the best at it in the game (an recurring topic). And then he ends up asking what's wrong with this picture.
To which I answer that the problem is that I have his password and I enter to look at his forces each turn. [:'(]

Well, obviously he did not take the joke nor catch the emoticon I added just in case he did not take the joke.

I've never tried PBEM before. I was trying my hand at WitP against the AI and did intend to try PBEM eventually. If you're as bad as me...hang on, no thats not possible, nobody is as bad as me [:o]. If you'd like to have a bash at Witp mail me at dakini42@hotmail.com to discuss.
