WOW! what a new feature! I have browsed the manual a few times but I guess I missed this feature. What version was it included? i set up a long campaign against Belgium, France, and Poland.. I was driving the enemy from the field with such ferocity! Though my SS rifleman seemed to take much causalties through melee.. At first I was so unsure with being unable to take out a unit with a tank, but using this feature makes it so much more realistic. I kept thinking of the line from Conan.. "To slay your enemies. See them driven before you. And the lamentation of the women."

One aside. German Heavy MG Motorcycles are tough! they were doing more casualties than a PZ IVc

In my latest scenario test I had the chance to use both melee and overrun quite often. They don't always work, but BOY! when they do! It's a dangerous technique, 'cause you can get whacked yourself, but all in all it's worth the risk. Just make sure you're close and have enough ammo. I'm liking v5.3 more and more every day.
