Does anyone know if there are still plans to create the 1806/1813 game after Guns of August is complete? If so, any idea of when (i.e. this year, next year)?
Thanks

Eventually, as in I don't know when, I am going to redo 1806 and combine it with the Spring and Autumn campaigns of 1813. But I really don't know when I'm going to have time yet.

Well I actually have 2 games wrapping up. WW1 and Battles of Napoleon. Up next is strategic American Civil War and probably 1806/1813 although it may be ACW and a different one.

Battles of Napoleon? I loved that old game, once I figured out how to play it PBEM!
I just bought COTD and it seems most impressive. I'm looking forwards to any further games in the same system.

BON - Battles of Napoleon was the best wargame of it's time. I actually thought the AI played well! (perhaps I was a bad player at that time) - so i never played it against a human.

The new Battles of Napoleon is a totally new wargame altogether. It is called "Black Powder Wars : Battles of Napoleon." Here is a link to their discussion boards :

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like an interesting game...if it is as good as the old BON it will be great.
