Late war USMC tank companies in the Pacific are equipped with one M4 dozer tank for each M4 platoon.

What are the special qualities of dozer tanks? Crashing through jungle vegetation with greater ease?

I wasn't sure what they do so exchanged them for flamethrower tanks.

Their real life value was of burying enemy caves and bunkers, creating roads, pushing over obstacles and so on. None of this is possible in the game. Dozer tanks will remove mined areas and can crash through stone walls and hedges.

plus they are better armored from the front.
