News from me: I've got new PC, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro (joystick), Starshatter demo 3.9.4 and I'm unpleased game resolution don't go to 1600x1200. 'Stick has problems with Space Combat but seems to work with Starshatter just fine, except Z-axis (controlled by twisting the handle) moves too easily.

I'm not deleted files of the Star Wars mod and I might continue with it some other day, but I've got other projects to do. Like play games (gotta get Starshatter to collection) and convert old PC to game server (to host MegaMekNET campaign).

Anyways right now I would like to test out Starshatter multiplayer. Is there any dedicated servers? I go mine sub forums, but answer right here would be appreciated.

SS is a new game and still has some MP issues for some people.
It has big problems with SP2 patch from Microsoft and with firewalls (most games can run MP with firewalls on just by adding that game to the "authorised" programs list).
This doesn't seem to be the case for some people (like me and a few others).
I don't have a problem finding players to play with. I have 4 - 5 players that I can find on my time fuse but the problem is that only 1 of them can host!!![:@]
We all are dependent on him for hosting our games, as dedicated servers are rare... [:(]
Actually SS Central is considering setting up a 24/7 ded server, but we are waiting on news from Milo, as it is useless to set up a server for 4.03 version, if a "new-engined" SS version comes out... stay tuned for more news...

Note that 4.03 servers are rare and people playing it even rarer, due to those problems with the game broker. You will hardly find MP players for early versions.

But I'm poor student and right now I don't have enough money to pay 50+ € for any game. By the way, what it cost right now and how much more comes from giro? Don't tell me to check out myself becouse Matrix Store seems to be off-line.

Welcome back. Please note that the "3.9.4" demo is actually the "4.0.3" demo but some sites got the version number wrong. I noticed GameSpot had it as "3.9.4", not sure who else picked that version number up from them.

Hey Erik, I remember you. What do you mean with those version numbers? It shows 3.9.4 in the game. What's the problem with Matrix Store and what's the price of Starshatter now? How many € is required by giro? I'm in Finland.

It's based on the 4.0.3 code, if you have the latest demo. I just logged in, so if there's a store problem this is the first I'm hearing of it (haven't hit all the forums yet). What's the problem you're having? Giro, as far as I know, is simply a payment method for Europe. I'm not sure it requires an extra fee - if so, it should be nominal. I've seen a lot of customers using that method and our European staff have recommended it as pretty pain-free.

It costs about 42 € for a digital download.
Finland is a member of the E.U. but are you using the Euro already?

I am in France myself. Get the commercial version and we will hit it MP!

Browser reported it couldn't find page. Like broken link. Seems to work now.

Anyways that 42 € + shipping is way too much for me. It could be some time until I get enough money for it. Food comes first.
