Aircraft disbanding - when we need this option

I have never done it - but this option exist - how do you use this option and when do you use it???
Hi, There are two options
Withdraw airgroup
Disband airgroup
In both cases you need a second group of same type aircraft in the hex.
Withdraw the aircraft go to other group. The pilots stay with the withdrawn group and will be with it when it reforms.
Disband both aircraft and pilots transfer to the remaining group. The group will reform with new pilots and aircraft (unless you select it not to return. You should not have partial units disbanded return. (A partial unit is a group not labeled the parent group and not one of the groups formed when a group is split by order)
Disbanding is a good way to bring a group back to strength. (disband a small group into a depleted larger group)
Withdraw is a good way to get pilots out of a hex (withdraw a large group into a small group)
