Will WaW support World Domination? For example, lets say the allies conquer europe, can they then head into China and so on? Thanks.
Looking forward to this title.

Yes you can...you can select "no auto victory" and "no end date" and continue playing until someone rules the world!...however in your example, China is an ALLY to the Western Allies but Central/South America, Africa, and other neutrals, are all there ripe for the taking, if you manage to succeed elsewhere.....

Can you change who your allies are so that you can take their territory as well? For example, if I wanted to be the US, can I attack China (or any other "allied" country) so that I can rule there as well? Is there an option to do that? If no, thats no biggie.
Thanks.

Sorry, no option to take over areas from Allies.

Do you think this will be one of those "moddable" aspects to the game?

I'm checking with Keith. Who makes up the alliances is definitely moddable, but whether the game would function correctly with more than 2 alliances is something the programmer will need to answer.

Cool, thanx. Would you mind checking to see if they think no alliances would create issues?

A great question(s), the ability to mod the game for non-historical options is a key for the re-playability of the game. I personally hope that the editor or modibility of the game is at a level that we have control to do almost anything. The more control, the more options, the better the game.

I fooled around with having some players not be part of one of the alliances. It almost worked, but had a few strange side effects (aside from the graphics and victory conditions are tailored to having two alliances). I doubt we will have time before release to make it so more than 2 alliances can be constructed and work 100%. I don't know if we will work on this down the road or not. For now, you should assume that the game requires players to be assigned to a major alliance (Axis or Allies).
