CTD oddities

Ever since I have been tinkering with the scenario editor, I have not been able to play anything but the stock games in BiN-the user created scenarios CTD as soon as I start 'em up. Obviously, I'm doing something that is messing with an integral part. What could it be? I just did a clean install, keeping my scenario in progress out of the scenario folder-still the same thing. Any ideas of what I might be doing? If I hadn't just done a clean install, I might not be so baffled...
