Just wondering how WPO will handle landing craft.

I am guessing as per Gallipoli that troops will not have access to specialised landing ships so unloading troops will be slower than in WiTP ?

So no more unloading 100,000 men in a day over a beach no matter how many ships you have ?

Also will we have moniters in the game to assist with bombarding could be fun to have a few 15" bombard ships to assist invasions.

No, landing craft are not present. I feel that the overabundance of some AKs will overcorrect for any small bots used in landing.

Also, landing forces are smaller. The Japanese have SNLF and NLF units, but they are fewer, and smaller. Also, US Marine forces are now at the Regimental and Brigade level, with their largest force being the "Advance Base Brigade", which consists of 3 regiments, as opposed to the Brigades usual 2.

As to moniters, I haven't included any in the game, mainly because they are slow (7 to 12 knots) and very short legged, it is doubtful if they could ever be deployed to the Pacific. The US recieves several gunboats (for the PI and China Station), and for the purpose of shore bombardment, the British receive the Courageous class Large Light cruisers. 4 15" guns should allow for good shore bombardment.

Also, as to the early 1922 campaign, there are a large number of predreadnoughts and coast defense battleships available for Japan and the US.
